The Family Traditions sale will offer elite Brahman and F-1 genetics in their first ever online sale. The sale will start April 12 at 8 AM and end April 14 at 7 PM. This Sale will feature the Best Cattle Sales “All Bids In – All Lots Sold” or a modified “Horse Race” style closing format. All increased bids will be increased by $100 increments.
If there is any bidding activity in the LAST 15 MINUTES OF AN AUCTION, that auction will enter into an extended bidding time frame. Extended bidding increments will start at 15 minutes. Extended bidding will continue until there has been no bidding activity for the duration of the set extended bidding time increment. At that time, the auction will close and all lots will be declared sold to the highest bidder. See examples below on extended bidding.
Example 1: Auction closes at 7:00 PM. There is no bidding from 6:45 PM to 7:00 PM. All lots
are declared closed and the sale ends at 7:00 PM.
Example 2: Auction closes at 7:00 PM. There is a bid placed at 6:50 PM. Auction is extended
by 15 minutes. No more bidding occurs. All lots are declared closed and the sale ends at 7:05 PM.
Example 3: Auction closes at 7:00 PM. There is a bid placed at 6:50 PM. Auction is extended
by 15 minutes until 7:05 PM. Another bid is placed at 7:00 PM. Another bid is placed at 7:05 PM.
Another bid is placed at 7:10 PM. No more bids are placed. All lots are declared closed and the
sale ends at 7:25 PM.

SALE TERMS & CONDITIONS
PAYMENT: Terms of the sale are cash or cashier’s check, due upon receipt and before animals leave either ranch. Unpaid accounts will be billed at 18% APR beginning thirty (30) days following sale. Upon receipt of payment, the seller will transfer the registration paper if applicable to the buyer as soon as possible. If full payment is not received within thirty (30) days, then upon written or electronic notice to buyer, the breeder shall retain ownership of animal with full property rights, including the ability to sell the animal to another buyer.
SPECIAL NOTES: Lot 1 – PLEASE NOTE BOX R IS RESERVING THE RIGHT TO TWO FLUSHES AFTER HER FIRST CALF; Lot 15 – Lot 17 – PLEASE NOTE BOX R IS SELLING FULL POSSESSION AND 50% SEMEN INTEREST ON THESE HERD SIRE PROSPECTS.
ADDITIONAL NOTES: Lot 1 – Lot 3 are all Brahman heifers and they will be eligible for the 2018 AJBA All American, the TJBA State Show or LJBA State Show and as an ADDED BONUS – all the Box R Brahman heifers will be nominated for the “I’m In It 2 Win It” show series. Lot 8 – Lot 14 are all F1 calves that will need to be weaned. 4T Cattle will keep these calves until May 30th at which time the buyer will need to pick up their calves. From the end of the sale until pick up date 4T Cattle will work with the calves with the intention of the calves being halter broke by pick up date. The buyer of any of the above lot(s) will need to make immediate arrangements with 4T to pay for their lot(s) at the end of the sale. 4T Cattle will register these calves at the choice of the buyer either by registering them as ABBA Golden Certified, Braford or if the buyer requested the calves will be registered in both associations. All the 4-T F-1 heifers in this sale will be eligible for the 2018 AJBA All American, the TJBA State Show or LJBA State Show and as an ADDED BONUS – all the 4-T F-1 heifers will be nominated for the “I’m In It 2 Win It” show series.
FEEDING TERMS: Cattle will be provided free care until April 24, 2018, after which feed is billed at $5/head/day in the pasture. These charges are not designed for the seller to make money, just to cover the costs. Any veterinary expense will be the owner’s obligation. All accounts will be billed monthly. Feed charges must be paid in full when the cattle are picked up.
LIABILITY: Ownership of the animal transfers at the time of sale and the buyer bears the risk of injury, disease or death, which may occur.
HEALTH: Animals have been provided the utmost care, nutrition, and vaccinations under the guidance of the sellers veterinarian. Animals are assumed sound and healthy at sale time.
