UF MISS GATOR 725/3. BW 58 lbs., 205 day adj. Wt 411, EPDs: BW-1.5, WW 0, YW 7, Milk 7, REA 0.15, MB 6.63, TEND 0.05, DOC 411. The University of Florida is pleased to consign UF Miss Gator 725/3 to this year's FBA Heifer Sale. This heifer is moderate and well balanced with ample bone, muscling and capacity. She really stood out to me last September at weaning and I made the difficult decision to pull her out of our replacement heifers for this sale. This heifer ranks in the top 1% of the breed for Birth Weight EPD, and top 15% for Marbling EPD. These are two traits that we feel are very important to the Brahman breed and have been selecting for in the UF herd. In my opinion, the most impressive thing about this heifer is her dam. Her 12 year-old dam has weaned 10 consecutive calves with a 376 day calving interval! This is the kind of fertility we strive for. Most people wouldn't consider selling a heifer out of such a fertile cow, but we wanted to bring some of the best genetics to the table. The sire of this heifer (On opposite page) is UF Gator 217-0304. This bull has produced the co-high selling bulls in the 2023 UF Sale who each sold for $12,000.00. We have used this bull for several years and he consistently produces moderate framed progeny with added capacity and muscling. This will be one of the last females to sell out of 217-0304 since we unfortunately lost him this past year. Don't miss this opportunity to buy such a unique breeding piece.
