DESCRIPTION:  Easy to get excited about “Kat”! Lady H Katherine “Kat” Manso 341/0 is one of our most powerful yearling heifers and a favorite at the Ranch.

Here is a female that is sure to headline our donor battery for years to come. The sire of Kat 341/0 is JDH Mr Monroe Manso 416/8, who has been our most consistent herd sires over the last four years. He produces moderate framed, structurally correct, and easy fleshing cattle. JDH Mr Monroe Manso 416/8 is sired by none other than JDH Prophet Manso 424/7, which is arguably one of the best (+)JDH Sir Lawford Manso 616/6 sons to date. The maternal side of Monroe 416/8 features another “Hall of Fame” type herd sire in JDH Mr Elliott Manso 761/2.

The dam of Kat 341/0 is a former show champion and one of the prettiest cows on the ranch, Lady H Katrisha Manso 610/4. The 610/4 donor cow is backed by performance and fertility, being an own daughter of the Register of Renown sire, +JDH Charley’s Jazz 946/1, and out of the Register of Renown donor, +Lady H Alexis Manso 790, a cow that charts 54 registered offspring. In addition to her performance, impeccable ancestry, length of body, muscular topline, thick hindquarter, dark pigmentation and heavy bone, Lady H Katherine “Kat” Manso 341/0 ranks in the top 15 percentile in weaning weight, yearling weight, and yield grade.
