Description: Bertha is the sweetest heifer in the sale and would make a tremendous junior show calf! She has a powerful build with lots of muscle. She is sired by our herd sire Mr +S Grant Manso 461 (a JDH SIR FORREST MANSO 159/6 son). Grant had a great show career on the Schneider Brahmans string and has done a knock-out job in our pasture. He was Reserve Grand Champion at the Hunt County Fair and garnered several division titles and lots of class wins at various shows. His sire, JDH SIR FORREST MANSO, is a proven performance bull that is in the top half of the breed for 11 of the 13 measured traits, being in the top 10% of the breed for 5 of them. Bertha looks a like her daddy, Mr +S Grant Manso 461, with lots of length, a wide back and smooth flank.

Her dam, Miss Kallion 315, is a very productive young cow with great carcass traits. She scanned at 4.61 %IMF, and her first calf was a bull, who placed 16th out 90 in the 2016 ABBA Performance Bull Test Program. We think this sweetheart of a heifer will make a great show prospect or breeding piece. She has been started on halter and leads well.
