DESCRIPTION:  Two years ago with the interest building for polled cattle we utilized some of the most proven polled sires in the breed. One of the results was AT Miss Nova 145/3 (P). The sire to Nova is Mr. 4F Polled Ice Man 3/6 (P) who we purchased semen on from our friends at England Cattle Company. We were highly impressed with the amount of bone, thickness, and length that this bull possessed in addition to him being polled. Ice Man is sired by LMC Polled Sambo 45/0 and out of LMC LF Polled Elma who both rank in the top 4 for polled animals with progeny registered in ABBA. The dam to Nova is Miss Kara 134 one of our top donors with 34 registered progeny. Miss Kara 134 produced the proven herd sire Eddy Miles, a $15,000 consignment to the 2018 International Sale, a reserve division winner at the LJBA State Summer Show in addition to other junior show winners and herd influencers. Miss Kara 134 was our pick of the 2016 consignments from Kara Farms and she has been nothing less than outstanding averaging 19 embryos per aspiration resulting in a large number of calves indicating her fertility.
