DESCRIPTION: If you have visited the ranch recently, Lady H Heather Manso 380/0 is usually the first heifer to greet you to get her scratching. This big bone, deep sided heifer is a favorite with my family. We love the breeding combination of Mr H Bogota Manso 253/1, crossed with Lady Slugger Gina Manso 142/41. Heather 380/0 is the type of heifer we select for ourselves, being wide-based, structurally correct and easy fleshing.
The genetics behind Heather 380/0 combine some of the fresher Heritage lines with older proven lines from J.D. Hudgins. Mr H Bogota Manso 253/1, the sire of Lady H Heather Manso 380/0, is one of the top producing sons of +Mr H Maddox Manso 684 and was recently recognized in ABBA as one of the most influential Gray Brahman bulls for number of registered progeny in 2010 to 2019. The dam of Heather 380/0, Lady Slugger Gina Manso 142/41, is sired by the International Reserve Grand Champion bull, JDH Sir Darrin Manso 517/7.
