DESCRIPTION:  Soooo…. Last Summer at the Brahmans at the Camellia Sale we did a thing! Let me clarify that oh most definitely we have a good time over there but this was an intentional purchase.

We purchased our first Red Brahman, Miss 4F Polled 149/1 (P). She is a unique polled breeding piece that is dark red, super feminine and backed by a proven pedigree! She is sired by the 2018 Reserve National Champion, SRS Joe Kid 185, who combines +SRS Troubador 933 with the dam of +SRS Captain Red Legs. The dam to 149/1 is Miss 4F Polled Victoria 23/7 (P) one of the most proven donors in the breed whose offspring are winning shows and fetching the top prices when sold. Victoria is best known as the dam to Miss 4F Polled Elegance 72/9 (P) who was the 2021 International Show Reserve Intermediate Champion and Miss 4F Polled Fallon’s Pride who was recently an International Show Class Winner. To further add value to this female she charts positive for the economically relevant traits of Growth, Milk, and Marbling. 

To create these embryos we mated this female to our PROVEN herd sire +JDH Mr. Music Manso who has developed a strong following due to the success of his offspring. In the recent 2024 International Brahman Show Music Man ranked as the #8 sire for show points earned by progeny with a daughter winning the Reserve International Champion title! This success should not be surprising as he is backed by some of the most proven genetics in the breed being sired by the National & International Champion, globally used, and Vanguard Sire (+)JDH Mr. Woodman Manso and out of a regular calving cow for the Leslie Hudgins Division of J.D. Hudgins, Inc. 

This mating is actually the reason we purchased 149/1 and are extremely excited to share these genetics!
