When we decided to host this sale, we knew we had to offer our best. Based on production, pedigree, and notoriety we decided to offer an aspiration on MISS AT 510 “Skylar”. You have seen one of her progeny, AT MR McLINTOCK MANSO 684/9, that validates her producing ability. We purchased Skylar as a young heifer, showed her successfully, and now she has impacted our program with 15 calves in two years with several of these already sold as show animals. Her production is important, and we think proven but it should come as no surprise as she is backed by a pedigree full of breed leaders. The sire to Skylar is +MR. V8 442/6 who was a successful show bull for V8 Ranch, sired MR. V8 259/7 as well as an additional Reserve National Champion, and due to an early death has limited semen available. The students of the breed will realize that 442/6 is sired by the breed icon (+)JDH KARU MANSO 800 and out of a full sister to +MISS V8 464/6 the International & World Brahman Congress Champion and dam to +MR. V8 191/7 & MR. V8 194/7. The dam to Skylar is LADY H ZOEY MANSO 986/2 who was an International Show Reserve Division Winner and a full sister to the 2010 International Champion +LADY H LISA MANSO 947/7. It is also necessary to mention that Skylar ranks in the top 4% of the breed for WW, YW, Milk, Carcass Weight, Scrotal, REA and Marbling!
