DESCRIPTION: We spend a lot of time with our calves from day one and take note of each personality. I guess the best way to describe Emmies personality is sneaky and stealth like. She would nurse all the cows in the pasture without them knowing it was not their calf, in doing so she grew and grew well. Emmie is the deepest most spring of rib heifer in the group, she has great muscle and a wonderful disposition.
Her dam is Miss SCC Victoria’s Secret 122/6 and our top producing female at the ranch. Victoria is an exceptional cow in confirmation and fertility. She was aspirated at 24 months old and produced 15 grade 1 embryos, 8 being implanted resulting in 5 live calves on the ground before her first natural calf at 3 years of age. She has since continued producing some of our favorite calves each year. 122/6 was another female we mated last year with Mr. BER Justify 506 and received 4 heifers that looked like cookie cutters. It’s very hard to tell them apart and you have to look closely. Being our first sale wanted to offer our best, so Emmie went into the sale.
