DESCRIPTION: Nicole Wilson/EP Cattle/Bar NC Cattle -When finalizing this sale, Nicole called and said that her family wanted to participate in this sale.  Eddie and Nicole Wilson are both TJBA and AJBA members and were around Maci a lot.  They donated 3 Conventional embryos with a very intriguing genetic opportunity.  The sire to these embryos Mr. V8 968/7 “Mollie’s Bull” has done a tremendous job at BRC.  This Noble son is out of The Janessa Manso cow who has a history of producing great functional cattle.  968 is also a moderate, sound footed, deep middled, and stout made.  As you would expect from the Noble sons, 968 ranks in the top 1% for YW and top 2% for WW. He also ranks in the top 1% of the breed for docility. He is also our highest rated tenderness bull of the BRC program - with a -0.19 TEND EPD, placing him in the top 1% of the breed for this important trait as well. In his first calf crop, he produced the J4 Cattle   / Strack family’s division champion female at San Antonio. Calves are very gentle.
The dam to these embryos is a bred and owned female for Eddie Wilson.  Lady Jo was a competitive heifer for Eddie, placing at the top of her class throughout her career. Lady Jo is a long sided, deep ribbed female with more than enough natural muscling. She also stands on good bone and is sound footed. As you look at this JDH Sir Shank Manso daughter’s  pedigree one can’t help but notice some of the breeds legends such as JDH Sir Lawford Manso, and Madison 737, Mr. H Elijah Manso, Maddox, and the Deacon, bred by Barney Allen.
