DESCRIPTION: Semen opportunity! Each year lot 15 is designated to raise money in honor of our dad, Jeff Smith, for his memorial scholarship fund which allows us to continue his goal of aiding junior members in having a successful future. This is only our second time ever offering semen on Mr. V8 381/8 “BIG BOOM”. This will quite possibly be the only way for the public to obtain semen on our new foundation herdsire here at Smith Brahmans. “BIG BOOM’S” first calf born made her way to the backdrop at the 2021 All American as the Calf Champion Grey Female. What a way for him to prove himself very early on in his production! V8 381 offers power, pedigree and beautiful Brahman characteristics. He is sired by the great Noble and his dam, Miss V8 21/8, is not only one of the best cows to ever walk into any show ring but also holds a very special place in our hearts. This cross has produced the 2019 and 2020 Reserve International Grey Female, Miss V8 824/8. In addition, this mating also produced Mr. V8 376/8 “Dutton”, the 2019 National Reserve Grand Champion Grey Bull. We would again like to thank Brandon, Rachel, Mollie and Annie Cutrer of BR Cutrer for the opportunity to acquire a bull of this caliber.
