When we decided to try IVF, we went to our best producing female, AT Lady Paige Imperator. Her prefix, AT, means she is from the Andy Tucker herd. She comes from our “Paige” cow line, and this female shows all the quality possessed by the Duda cattle of her namesake. She produced 91 oocytes, from just 3/4 of one ovary, and 62 of those made grade 1 embryos. The sire to this embryo lot, KT Risso Able Empre 718, was a bull bred by Katie Tucker, and then sold to Steve Wilkins back in 1993. 718 has been used extensively, and with great success, in the UF embryo project. This mating produced an outstanding bull calf who had an unfortunate accident as a calf, but we thought enough of him to use this mating as our first attempt at IVF. These calves should have the bone, thickness, fertility, and functionality TA cattle are known for, with an added punch of style, on a middle moderate frame. TA Brahmans will guarantee one 60 day pregnancy, if implanted by a certified embryologist. The guarantee does not transfer if the embryos are resold. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Embryos are stored at our HQ and we are happy to meet the buyer at a central location in Florida to deliver.
