DESCRIPTION:  ACYJ FLORETE TE is a Guzerat beef-type sire produced through embryo transfer, which Butler Farms imported from the renowned Mexican breeder, Juan Manuel Conde. Guzerat cattle, second only to the Sardo Negro breed, have experienced the most significant growth among all the breeds we have imported. Florete is compatible with Brahman, Guzerat, and other bos indicus or bos taurus breeds. Personally, I have seen some of the most exquisite cows that were Guzerat x Jersey crosses, and they were phenomenal. We are incorporating some Guzerat into a few of our Brahmans to obtain that outcross hybrid vigor and add power and maternal qualities to our herd. Currently, we have crossed Guzerat with both red and gray Brahman, and we are thrilled with the outcomes. Our cows range from half-bloods, quarter-bloods, to those with 1/8 Guzerat blood, and our females are undoubtedly our best and most fertile cows. We even have some polled cows with up to half Guzerat ancestry.

We are currently sold out of Guzerat calves to put in this sale so this will be the only opportunity to inject some guzerat into your cattle. Florete will put the volume and the skeleton on cattle that few bulls in the US can do. Florete will maintain the muscle and bone of today’s Brahman and add the feature or breed characteristics as well as give calves that vigor to get up and nurse. Clean up the underlines, front ends, navels and sheaths while correcting any teat problems you might have.
