DESCRIPTION:  LCC / VBCC Mike Jones 800/4 is bred by Lawrence Cattle Company and Owned with Vera Brothers Cattle Co. Mike Jones is the best young Homozygous Polled herd sire LCC has bred to date. Mike Jones collected and froze excellent quality semen at only 14 months of age. He is a big butt big boned cow man’s type of bull. He has good feet and legs and an excellent temperament. Another one of Mike Jones big selling points is he is almost a full red pedigree 95%. There are not a lot of full red pedigree Homozygous polled bulls out there, and for sure none of this quality. Most of the polled red Brahmans are 50% gray or more making it hard to color classify a lighter colored calf red. You don’t have to worry about that with Mike Jones, he will color them red and knock the horns off every single time. 

Mike Jones is out of a first-generation polled cow (both parents being horned) big frame cow bred by Ray Madden called 5M Polled by Design 228/2 whose grand sire is +BB MR STING-RAY 10/0. Polled by Design was successfully shown by Glenn Cox. 

Mike Jones is sired by one of Australia’s finest Homozygous Polled Red Bulls Nioka Pablo. Pablo has made a big splash in the USA over the past few years having sired several polled show animals that have done exceptionally well in the show ring.
