The success of Rose should not be surprising as she is by the Reserve National Champion and extremely popular sire +SRS Mr. Pasco 812 and out of the Reserve International Champion and proven dam +CT Lady 380 Rhineaux. The sire of Trina is +M2 BRC Captain 518/1 who is one of the most widely used sires in the breed due to the success of his progeny in the show ring and marketplace. One of the most significant recent winners by Captain was the 2023 International Champion Grey Female. Captain is a dark pigmented grey sire that combines the Reserve International Champion +Mr. V8 191/7 and a proven Register of Renown Cow which opens up the pedigree of Trina making her more versatile from a mating standpoint.
