DESCRIPTION: UF MR GATOR 550/2 (P)
Don’t miss out on the opportunity to purchase this outstanding BLACK, POLLED Brahman bull and better yet, he is out of an ELITE MATERNAL MERIT DAM! UF MR GATOR 550/2 (P) is sired by the very popular Register of Renown sire, +JME Mr. Suva Crat 225 (P). The excitement surrounding this one-of-a-kind sire has exploded in the Brahman world with ½ interest in a daughter selling for $105,000 and semen selling as high as $4600 per straw! This is your opportunity to incorporate these exciting genetics into your herd. The awesome pedigree of 550/2 does not end with his sire. You may not be familiar with his dam, UF MISS GATOR 218-0320, but we sure are! This cow is one of the few cows in the Brahman breed to calve at 2 years of age and every year since. 218-0320 conceived to the first AI service as a yearling heifer; calving at 25 months of age. She just weaned her 4th calf as a 5 year-old, and has a 103.3 MPPA! This cow goes back to a tried and true pedigree for maternal performance from Kempfer Cattle Company and the Burma Ben line of bulls. I saw the KCC 117 bull for the first time when I was in college in the Fall of 2002. At that time, I thought he was one of the most impressive Brahman bulls I had ever seen, and 21 years later, you can still see his influence in modern pedigrees. The Burma Ben bulls are well-known for fertility, functionality, and longevity. Interestingly enough, the Burma Ben line started with a UF Brahman bull named UF ESTO 506 that Mr. Woody Tilton purchased back in the late 80s. This is a royally bred animal. If you are looking to improve maternal performance, this is the one. Moderate framed and low birth weight with all the convenience traits that are so vitally important to the success of your program. The hard part is done; this is your opportunity. Buy with confidence.
