UF MISS GATOR 222-0632 | ABBA # 1054202 | DOB: 04/09/2022
This halter broke heifer is coming to you straight out of the UF replacement heifers. She has an excellent phenotype with plenty of capacity and muscling in a moderate framed package. This heifer has a strong topline and is very well balanced, level hipped, and structurally correct. Take this heifer on to the show ring, or put a gentle female in your breeding herd. The choice is yours; you can’t go wrong with this one.
Her sire, UF Mr Gator 216-0332, is a deep sided bull with a lot of thickness and breed character. His pedigree combines some of the great cattle from the Kempfer program with an exceptional STARS cow that descends from the Burma Ben bulls that were used with such great success in the STARS program. Interestingly, this pedigree goes all the way back to UF ESTO 506, one of the popular bulls from the UF program back in the 80s. Her 4 year old dam is an interesting combination of the old Paret’s Ponderossa 888 bull on an outcross donor cow from the Kallion program in Texas.
In terms of performance, this heifer is in the top 5% of the breed for Birth Weight EPD, with an actual Birth weight of 58 pounds. She grew rapidly to a 468 pound Adjusted Weaning Weight and 754 pound Adjusted Yearling Weight. She scanned the largest Ribeye Area in her contemporary group at 11.20 in2 to ratio 117 for REA. She also had the 4th highest Intramuscular Fat ultrasound of her contemporaries at 3.11% to ratio 113 for IMF.
We think this is a great opportunity for someone to own a female with a lot of potential from the heart of our program, and we are very proud to offer her to you.
